Since you have mentioned the word Chutzpah 3 time here is my favorite quote from Genesis "In the Beginning there was the word and the word is till Chutzpah!"
Got distracted by a rather devilish (I’m not kidding) encounter yesterday, as I was completing this read. Only just now got back to it (4 a.m.).
First, want to say…love the painting at the top…the water reflecting the sky, the planes of the rocks…..
About encounters with G-d…your framing made me look at my own sense of my experience from a different angle. I always feel guided. I think that’s the closest description I could ascribe to my life.
At this point, I feel more challenged (in a spiritual sense) to trust that all will be well as I exercise my artistic training and living in service to that as the encounter that G-d both seeks for me and into which I am drawn.
I do think it’s all G-d and that it’s always speaking, kind of like a radio on in the background. Just with all the noise, one has to really listen to hear the Word.
Thank you, again, for a thought-provoking read, Bruce.

Laughed out loud
nice!
My entire life is a wrestling match between the demons in my head and the Lord fighting for me.
